Fortunis Capital joins DiT directory to help boost foreign investment in UK

Fortunis Capital has been approved to join The Department for International Trade’s Investment Support Directory, consisting of selected industry experts to help overseas businesses set up and expand their operations in the UK.

Fortunis joins hundreds of specialists on the directory, hosted on the invest.great.gov.uk website.

The online tool provides an easy way for international businesses and investors to find expert advice. Under the scheme, they also get a free hour-long consultation to discuss their specific needs.

The platform is part of wider initiatives by the DiT to increase foreign direct investment into the UK.

OECD figures confirm the UK as the leading destination in Europe, and the third most significant in the world, behind the US and China.

Fortunis Capital Investment Director Emma MacRae, a panellist on the DIT’s UK Tech Landscape Post EU Exit seminar hosted by the British Embassy in Prague, said: “We are delighted to be included in the UK Investment Support Directory.

“As a leading impact investor, Fortunis is proud of its track record in attracting the ‘best of the best’. This directory makes it easier for foreign investors to find the right advice and pathways to grow in the UK.”

The DiT say: “This is an exciting opportunity for Government and the private sector to work together to make it easier for foreign investors to find the support they need, and to promote the expertise of the UK service sector across the globe.”

As a Home Office approved Endorsing Body, Fortunis Capital actively seeks innovative, scalable and commercially viable business proposals that are ready to be developed in the UK market.

Fortunis also sponsors the Foreign Innovation category at the prestigious Great British Entrepreneur Awards, showcasing entrepreneurs who have relocated their business to the UK – creating new jobs and helping to strengthen the economy.
