Business INsider FEATURES Fortunis Capital in IMPACT INVESTING SPECIAL
The influential Business Insider magazine features Fortunis Capital’s Chief Operations Officer Justin MacRae in a special report on ethical finance.
The magazine says that impact investing is an idea whose time has come, growing from niche to a £2.1trillion global megatrend.
In the article Justin points out: “The world has moved on from the old model and we believe that innovation rather than exploitation is key to delivering value for investors.
“Impact investing is about the outcome, demonstrating a positive benefit to society while delivering strong returns to investors.”
Insider cites investee Karma Technologies as a perfect example of impact investing at work. Its new app Borofree has the ambition of taking millions out of the vicious cycle of payday loan debt with zero interest advances.
Justin adds: “Creating a better world and delivering industry leading returns are not mutually exclusive.”
